a place to call our own

After purchasing their parents' lake home they knew that the home's small rooms and lack of windows were not going to work for them. We designed a new layout with a much better flow and lake views from every room. The main level would work for their daily lives and the second floor would allow room for guests. The process included gutting most of the home's interior. A few items, such as the old floorboards. were salvaged.  After building out the interior for the new floorplan which included converting unused garage space into a main floor master bedroom retreat those floorboards were used as a beautiful accent wall. For these homeowners, stress resides when they wake up to a view of the water, warmth under their feet and the smell of coffee brewing just down the hall.
